Well, the weather man said we supposed to get rain today and I happened to check the radar out of curiosoty a few minutes ago and there's a huge dragon looking blob of yellow, orange, red and hot pink heading this way in the next hour or so. So, it's looking like we're going to have a washout of a weekend here according to the predictions. Oh well, I have some things I've been meaning to get done indoors here anyway.
Sunday is Mother's Day and I'd like to wish all you MOTHERS an early Happy Mother's Day.  We also have a birthday to celebrate here so we'll probably just celebrate both together. As far as cookin' and eatin' here, I'm still thinking about a few things. If it really rains a lot tomorrow I may shift into a serious cooking mode but, we had kind of decided to have an easy going weekend cooking wise. We were thinking about having homemade roast beef poor boys.
I'll go out in search a nice roast for stuffing with garlic and slow cooking it for thin slicing.
As of this moment I can't think about anything else I'll be cookin' and eatin' but, that could change as soon as I walk away from the computer.
What-ch'all cookin' and eatin' at y'all's house this weekend?

Well it has been a year since I had back surgery and I still felt as if I should not go diggin on the beach for Razor clams. I have been takig a lot of Jerky to work so a couple guys returned the favor by giving me some clams

Heres a video of how we get clams over here on the west coast. This guy likes to say AH-Ha quite a bit but he shows the basic technique
