I took the kids camping last weekend. We went to Chippewa Campground in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Same eats as normal but It’s fun to post pics of bubba on the road.

Here’s where we were.

Here’s bubba home for Friday thru Monday.

Didn’t get pics of everthing. Here’s some burgers.

It was dark when we made pizza so the pics are bad

Chicken wings

Also cooked a small pork shoulder overnight, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast.

Was tempted to cook something on this. Grate swung out over the fire.

Here’s our camp

What a great looking crew and you sure went all out for that weekend. I sure hope you get a lot more like it. A current country song says enjoy it while you can, it don't last like that for long. Man, that is so true. It seems like only yesterday that we were taking ours camping and enjoying it now they are the ones with little ones.

The food looks great. The pizza was a great idea and looked fantastic. I'm sure it tasted as good as it looked.

My idea of roughing it now is when I pull into a campground and it does not have cable. We did the tent, pop up and travel trailers, now it is the motorhome. Enjoy it.
